Inspired by Éric Rohmer and his works, I designed alphabets and an accordion book for the artist. The book highlights Rohmer's most influential films throughout his career.
CINEMATIC
The alphabets will show a sense of movements or motion flowing among words and which means there will be contrast and variation in shapes, but each alphabet will have a similar or repeated form to build continuity between them.
GEOMETRIC
All alphabets will be constructed by circular and curvy lines or patterns which have round and smooth edges.
ELEGANT
The overall construction of each alphabet needs to reflect a graceful and delicate style.
